Common questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes — the information is encoded directly into the pattern rather than pointing at a short link we host. A printed code keeps working for as long as its destination does.
Do I need an account to make one?
No. Generating and downloading is free and needs no sign-in. An account only adds the dashboard, where published codes are saved so you can find and re-export them later.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG suits screens, documents, and slides. SVG is a vector, so it stays sharp at any size — use it for posters, packaging, vehicle livery, or anything going to a printer.
Can I see how many people scanned a code?
Not with a static code. Scan counting requires routing every scan through a tracking redirect, which is exactly what we avoid so your codes stay fast, private, and independent of us.
